USB-C is the new standard
Starting in 2024, the EU regulation goes into effect requiring manufacturers to provide electronic devices with a USB-C connector. The main reason is to reduce cable and power waste and contribute to a sustainable environment.
An additional benefit is that chances of damage to devices are significantly reduced. This is because the USB-C cable has a "so-called flat" connection and can be used independently of direction, so it can actually always be plugged into the device in the right way.
Manufacturer flow-med is ahead of the EU regulation with the introduction of this type of connection by placing it in all current and new dry-cap solutions being produced. Manufacturer flow-med's dry-cap uv 2.1, dry-cap uv 3.1 and dry-sun uv 2.1 are already equipped with a USB-C port.
